I found this cocobolo slab at the local lumber yard and wanted to work with it to study how difficult a species of wood like this would be. After flattening the piece, I had uncovered the true grain of this piece with there being shades of white/beige, red, orange, purple, and black throughout one single piece of wood all natural. The depth in grain tone is what truly influenced my naming of this woodworking business. A simple frame assembly consisting of morado & hickory wood.
While this is a simple build, it is truly a special piece to have worked on.
